Well i had this done like 3 weeks ago and it took forever to make the vid - all the lag fixed that finaly and then i had to upload it me and my dial up 6mb so here it is finaly able to show it off.
<VIDEO> [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] <VIDEO>
And some one posted somthing about me just using an uploader well ur rong becuase look.
And this can also load from my files off the web not just the server i made for it, i just made that so i can grab it faster insted of realy getting all that from my site. ther's like 20 thasond (bad grammer) files that come from my site but when i did the vid i took out the option to have it load about half of those on the loading bar and half while playing and at the Exist user spot (login menu) so this isnt all that it can do.
this should have not been released..
wow! you can do auto-cache downloading! thats what it looks like to me... It looks like you have really small ones downloaded at first, then u send a **** load of things out through the bat, then you download more, then you continue on...

congrats? you can lag balls when loading a client.
waste-o-time.
@ llama, lol
@ killer 99, no one on this site thinks you are a "good" programmer so just leave will you... anyone can do your little auto-cache-downloading and say its a update server
llama - this is a waste of time? well you go up to jagex's doorstep and tell them that, becuase im using what they made and there still using it.
no you edoit what they had the onDemandFetcher would not work with what i have i had to edit it for weeks trying to figure it out dont call me a leecher we're all leecher'swhere all using what they made. Dont start somthing you little jelous?

This is not just 'auto-cache downloading'. This is an update server. The update server was already built in to the client, but it was disabled for the purposes of private server use, like the JAGGRAB server. Killer has built the server counterpart to what the client wants. Well done, Killer. I'm pretty sure you're the first (Although I know silab was working on this some time ago, she never said if she accomplished it)
Dj Icey, You're a moron. Even though this isn't exactly the hardest thing ever to do (Not meaning to take any glory from your work, killer), I can assure you, this is more than you have ever come up with.
And Llama, I dont think you understand what this is =]
This checks wether the client has all the up to date cache files, and if they aren't, it'll send only the appropriate files. (And of course if they have no cache at all it'll send all the cache files for the client to build.)
However, if it finds the client has all the correct cache files it will continue to load normally.
This is what jagex used, and still do use to this day. (How else do you think they update the client's cache every week?)
