What i mean by SQLing a client is this, when you sql your server they have to register to login to the forums. But when people dont have the patients to mess with forums they look for a client to download, well is there a way to create a applet or something so when you start up the server on the frame of it you register your account.

    "Username"
    "password"
    "email"

then it registers it and you have to verify it via email like the forums, and then it automatically creates that account for you on the forums..

    Understand? Explain? is it possible?

Ahhh yes that will work as well. I would love to have something based on that feature. But right now i have it so they have to verify their account via email because of the amount of vbulletin bots that spam.

You could limit their in-game privs until they activate their e-mail,
Or give a bonus for activating or whatever, to encourage, But you don't need to activate it to get into game, as long as you check the passwords

What do you mean nikki? Like i am sqled i have made it so they have to be a REGISTERED user on the forums to login. So they have to verify their email before they can play.

Is there a way to setup the account via client?
Cause They can't login period unless they verify their account via email. so instead of the forum hassle for players that only play. They simply click "Register Account" on the client jframe they download it pops up.

    Username:
    Password:
    Email:

And it automatically makes their forum and in-game account through the SQL database, just as if you register on the forums. This is for players who don't use the forums. And wanna just download the client and play. They would still have to verify their email after the click submit on the jframe popup. But the fact is to set it all up via client for those who just play.

Use the registration screen or create your own, and as I said, give a reward for verifying their e-mails, not everyone is there to spam

Verifying their email is already apart of the registration, they are UNABLE to login unless they are a member. Cause just registering would make then a Waiting for Verification User.

And i know that but the bots for vbulletin that spam your site with garbage is why that is enabled.
