    Looks great =]

I would highly recommend using 530 trees & their textures, even on "OSRS" mode, your trees never did look quite right.

On OSRS mode we strictly use OSRS maps/objects/models, the only thing we enhance is ground textures. On this new mode, we're still using OSRS maps but we're forcing objects to use new models/animations if possible. As for the trees on 530 mode, I don't think they look drastically different until a later revision. Here's a pic from around 2008 when HD was first released and a screenshot I just snapped in the same area (using enhanced OSRS maps):

(Don't mind the black bar at the bottom, will be fixed )

I do see a small difference in the tree tops but the trunk is definitely being upgraded to an HD texture at least. Remember that the tree IDs are the same as they are on OSRS so the maps won't be 1:1. I'll see if repacking textures makes a difference for the tree tops though.

Cool, yeah I managed to make a difference on one my Paragon projects. The trees really stand out and pester me, but the rest of your client is really coming along. Keep up the great work and if you need help with the trees, just send me a message.

Appreciate it, I've sent you a PM

Also, working on HD light sources:

Still a long way to go to get decent coverage since a lot of it is manually configured, but we're working on enhancing commonly frequented maps.

    Hey guys,

We've been working on this update for the past few months, and I figured it would be something worth showing off here. I don't believe any other server has hooked RuneLite with anything except for the OSRS deob, at least not to any significant extent. This update took us about 4 months as a side project while we continued to work on our usual server updates. We also hooked it up to work with the 530 client's OpenGL implementation, meaning that many of the RuneLite rendering methods had to be redone for HD. Not only that, but since many of our interfaces are done differently than OSRS's, it took a lot of time to properly configure all the different plugins to work with our client. Although there are still some bugs, it works quite nicely so far without any major hitches.

As many of you know, Alora is based on the Paragon client which is a 530 client modified to use the 464 packet structure and data. For the past 4 years, we've strictly offered the OSRS graphical style, but we've recently re-added 530/602 support as a toggle which will be released later this month.

The media below will mostly show the 530 style with RuneLite, as I'm sure you all know what RuneLite looks like on OSRS:

Although not a show-off of RuneLite, this image shows the Varrock map using newer models for objects to have their HD textures and newer animations (such as the Fire). Since we use OSRS maps, this required some manual configuration to whitelist OSRS objects.

    Constructive criticism is appreciated
    Amazing work! Keep it up
