It's been a while since I've made anything RSPS related, but had the idea and wanted to explore it.
Its still in development, but thought I'd share the concept and maybe inspire someone else to create something similar.
The idea was originally to create an instanced area for the Farming Skill. With inspiration from the RS3 player-owned farming, I wanted to include the concept of rearing animals within this area too.
Thought it would be a unique way of combining the classic farming skill with something a little different and perhaps involve the player more.
Standout features:
- Increased farming XP on the allotment
- Increase woodcutting XP within the instanced area
- Gain Farming XP for picking Cabbages
- An interface to select an animal to rear
- A time period to wait for the animal to grow to a state to be slaughtered.
- The player will receive a message when the animal is ready for slaughter
- Crops grow faster within their player owned farming area
- NPC may be examined to view the time until slaughter
- NPCs may not be killed until the timer has finished
- Killing an NPC will grant Farming XP (Scales on NPC combat level)
