Before you say anything, yes I know this is spawnscape. I'm just using this for practise.
But, this is my first real thing I've done other than maybe implementing something really simple like a random item box or ring of wealth.
To most of you guys it might not be anything big, but it is for me! Especially since I got it to work so well without any obvious bugs (dont really care to look for them as of now)
I've overhauled the shops so that they are actually not 100% hot garbage while using. I'd say they are actually very good to use.
What I've changed and added
- You can buy more than 1 item at a time
- This also comes with auto-limiting (aka you can only buy this many because of inventory space or not enough money or stock or whatever). No dupes (as far as 1 guy can test)
- You can sell more than 1 item at a time
- Auto-limiting as listed above. No dupes (as far as 1 guy can test)[
- Shops update as you and others use them. No getting bamboozled about why theres 2 rings but you were only able to buy 1.
- Custom shop titles
- Restocking and Destocking
- This is when item amounts will go up/down after a certain period of time to get back to their original values
- This is toggle-able so if you want a limited stock you can toggle it off
- Variable sell-back rates
- You can make the sell-back rate (an item you sell to a store will be X% of the store's value)
- Variable currencies
- This means you can use any item with an itemid for a currency for any type of shop
- You can also use account-points like shop points or pk points or vote points
- General Store
- Comes full-featured (without a price list, prices are for you to decide).
- Player-only restocking and destocking (players drive the stock, not ticks)
- Random store (stole this from Spawnpk)
- Every 10 minutes the store items will swap. There could be rare items in there from time to time too!
- Every week on midnight MST the currency will swap
- Player owned Shops
- Player owned shops have variable currencies just like normal shops
- The player controls the store prices
- When an item is sold, the currency used will be sent directly to your bank/point reserve (probably not the best idea but thats how it is for now)
- Saves between sessions/server restarts

Looks neat. I think you should add a dialogue when u press the npc saying: "Open my shop", "Open another player's shop". Just seems more professional imo.

I don't think the section is bad, it's just that more people have less impressive stuff to show off that's more of a "hey I actually did something, look" post and hopefully get feedback on it. For example, stuff I think is pretty cool: Custom Packed World Map, Discord Integration and Deadman Mode.
