Guess why it takes 1.5 gigs?because i need to load all of that map. Guess why it could take less? I could make each area an different object and instance them when they're loaded. due to the fact how the original system was made, i used it before i got to the point of making it better. i have 4, and my laptop is 6 years old. Less than 4 gigs ram in a +2009 machine is imo a failure
Besides, it's game developing! The software needs to be bulky and laggy
Load time dropped with ~20 seconds, now it's almost instant
Edit: It takes 1.82 seconds to load and parse all 592 map files. drawing takes another two![]()
