Doesn't look like much of an emulation, but looks good so far, good luck

Thank you for all the support. This is just a heads up, I'm working on this 'Part-Time' as I'm working on other projects.
I didn't want to. However, people soon get bored and constantly request OSRS content so I guess I'll have to provide something. As for the release, I'm going to keep it straight up pre-eoc and have polls for certain OSRS content.

Yes. It was. He then made another framework based off of his version of RSE which was much better. He used the framework for Alotic back in 2015. When I got the framework in 2017 I did the following:
- Re-did some of the network and implement many security features which prevent flooding (is a known issue)
- Identified as many packets as I could find (was around 9 total he didn't bother to read correct)
- Adjusted how player updating worked (was done pretty badly below is one of the things I managed to fix with player direction upon logging in)
- Redid threading (the server would begin to cause many issues after 600 and the cycle rates would exceed 600ms)
- His region handling is actually decent so it didn't need work.
As for the rest of the framework
- Re-worked combat slightly (melee formulas was off)
- Implemented MUCH more content that was missing, even basic.. I would list but I could go on for pages
- Began working on fully functioning clan chats
- Full discord integration (not just channel messaging, once the player links their ingame account with discord I can literally do anything the discord API allows me to)
- Began loading OSRS data (items currently but will be working on many more features in the long run)
- Ironman modes including hardcore and groups..
I could go on and on I've done alot of work over the last 2-3years on/off (I've probably spent umm 12months overall developing the server? that's total time combined)
The main goal was to try be as close to an emulation as possible. However along the way people wanted "extra/better" content. And I concur. We still try to stick to the emulation phrase as much as possible but you know it's 2020, almost 2021 people want it "slightly easier".
Been busy working for someone re-writing P.I, but I did small updates to the server such as:
Added super combat pots same as osrs
re-wrote my lottery system it's based on how many tickets you buy (how much gp you invest into it)
when you first buy
vs how many the other people buy
(dw already changed world message to something better this is just for show off)
- Crystal keys are now stackable
- Identified where sprites load and how they loaded based on archive name, i can now have as many chat icons as i want along with other sprites within the player class.
- Readjusted networking for login now using ISAAC and RSA
(
bump

Good luck!
