smh you just ruined the entire project. I personally followed this due to you recreating a pre-eoc PVP server that didn't have anything to do with OSRS. The osrs items are pretty much on par with pre-eoc anyway with slightly different mechanics. It's a shame :(Quote:

I appreciate your input and concern however, we did run a poll within the community regarding introducing osrs items into the game and it passed with large numbers. There were some who did say things similar to what you have which is why we are trying to only use items that are unique to our era. We do have some exceptions like acb/dhc/tbow but when you think about how little we actually have in terms of variety you will see how boring it can get in the end. I am all for nostalgia but we need to think long term and the survivability of the server. Beta has yet to come, once it does we can give everything another look to make sure it works out well.Quote:

Your community is quite miniscule in terms of people who actually follow and want pre-eoc, if you were to check reddit and other communities theres thousands of players striving for a proper remake of this era done properly. Longevity for a PRE-EOC always involves a partial amount of the community wanting something that's OSRS because it's been meta for the past few years - which leads to other sheep wanting the exact same thing. I get you want to add the items that don't exactly represent an item in PRE-EOC but you are diminishing your whole project as a a 614 by going against this era. You can add heaps in terms of longevity towards content, or upgrading and reworking existing pre-eoc content exactly how OSRS is doing it now.Quote:

Honestly, do as you want man and read the name and information the server is being based on. The items they've decided to add were soley based on votes through the community, and in fact the items that were added have actual use in the PvP based server.Quote:
