Recreating the game that I loved (2011 Recreation Server)

Just wanted to briefly talk about what I am currently working on.

In order to feel less stressed and like I am on a time limit, I have decided that I will be going through all of the quests I intend to make and collecting all of the information I would normally get in addition to recording footage of it. However, instead of spending the time to write the code for the quest and put it all together, I just move onto the next one.

My logic is that if I just make each quest fully before moving onto the next one like I have been doing, I risk getting to the point where I haven't finished making all of the quests I want and either
(A) they remove Runelite Dev mode or ban 3rd party clients causing me to lose a valuable tool
or
(B) something happens to OSRS.

While both of these are unlikely, I would rather remove any worry or stress and just have all of this information.

There are around 60 more quests in OSRS I need to dump, and about 20 in RS3 (However I can't get as much information in RS3, just dialogue and quest journal stuff that youtube videos would never show)

It will probably take me a month or so to finish dumping them all.

Good luck dude, keep it up! I found it a lot easier to write code once I went open source, fwiw. Especially in RSPS, it might help!

Yeah I meant ones that are from 2007 and earlier, not the shit ones that osrs made. Monkey madness 2 is decent, but demonic gorillas are like TDS with an extra chromosome. Personally i find all of the quests original to osrs to be very bland and hollow... If you look at the detail of any of the pre eoc quests they are just far superior. I hope I can make Love Story, Summer's End, Nomad's Requiem, Temple at Senn, Branches, WGS and ROTM someday... Love the lore and cutscenes [Only registered and activated users can see links. I'd heavily love if you did the ritual quest (above). That's a pretty great quest, lengthy though!

yh pre-eoc quests stepped it up to another level actually the story, dialogues wer good to read through and cutscenes were defo enjoyable.

Just a quick update... around a month later I have dumped 35 quests.

I also took advantage of the double exp in RS3, and leveled up 2 accounts to the stats required for all of the Pre-Eoc quests I want to make.

When will I finish dumping them all? Probably another month or so.

I wish I had done this a year ago, not sure why I didn't...
