it's finally the weekend, time for some media and updates!
so starting the last week, we are shifting gears away from hardcore bug finding and fixing and are moving towards more rsps content development and trying to get the actual base of the server done and ready for hosting and to be played on, so updates are kinda different. we are doing a lot of idea creating and game planning to make sure this turns out great for you guys. we are DESTROYING this section and the amount of people who joined the Discord is literally insane. everyone has been so respectful, honest and professional with us and seeing everyone enjoy what we are bringing to private servers is giving us the unconditional motivation to work on this. thank you all so much!
because of this, we want you guys to be able to get in-game asap. we are officially opening a beta-pvp-spawn kind of world to you guys that will have access to it's full glory. reminder: this is not a remake of runescape and i don't want anyone getting the wrong impression doing this. we are opening this world to a public host in exactly two weeks from now on June 30, 2018! an exact time is still unconfirmed. but, the last day of the month!
- Slayer has been checked out and fixed and is now trainable.
- Developed a new "Master Server" that currently works the world list, update server and account creation completely independent of the game server.
- Added multiple-world support so we can host multiple game servers and run real-time updates back and worth between the client-server-game.
- Implemented dynamic world listings for server scalability.
- Player count now updates correctly for each world.
- Fixed a bunch of npc combat stuff inside the Pollivneach Dungeon.
- The Spikey Chain inside Slayer Tower now works correctly.
- An issue with color botting arose and we have developed a detection for it and prevent any sort of way of using them.
- Update server has been completely re-designed.
- Completely re-designed the interface handling inside Matrix into a modular type system. This will improve overall origanization and ease-of-use for the server when we are adding new content involving interfaces.
- Added support for sick item overrides so you can rock a phat while wearing your sick slayer helm.
- Entering "unsafe areas" of the game disables item overrides e.g Wilderness, God Wars Dungeon, Duel Arena.
- Also added a cool feature where we can automatically handle button unlocking in each individual interface listener so it's ran automatically.
- Fixed a weird issue where npc's would drop random items not found in our drop system.
- Removed unsupported items from existing shops showing 'null' items.
- Removed Orks from Draynor bank.
- Martin The Master Gardner is now pick-pocketable.
- Client now checks for selected world before the player does login.
- Added a travel system into the game to allow easy player access to the game world. Similar to a 'Lodestone' network?
- Fixed the fading screen effect.
- Seaman Lorris at the ::home is now who you go to for world transportation.
