Thread: Rsps - rpg

Hello Rune-Server.

Well it has been many years since I have touched a RSPS, however I am designing my own Engine for a game I am working on but I have so many ideas for game play mechanics that I just can't wait to work on them, So I have decided to begin work on an old 742 I had on an old backup drive.

November 2017
23 - Found an old server on my Backup drive, Fired it up and logged in to test playability

December 2017
1 - Removed all traces of original server content, leaving only functionality and basics until they can be redone later on
3 - Started work on opening cut scene
4 - Was put into the hospital and unable to do any development
7 - Home and feeling better, started Project thread
10 - Began re-writing how object interaction is being handled and dispatched
11 - Began re-writing how NPC interaction is handled and dispatched
13 - Taking a break to work on a multi level Dungeon and Quest series

Current Tasks

Traveling merchant
Every hour a mysterious trader will visit the homestead with items from far away that will help you in your adventure
This will bring new items, equipment, amulets, potions, some good and some negative

Multi-Level Dungeon/Resource Caves
Level one requires Agility, Slayer, and Low-Level Combat, nothing too stressful, but check the fires for the Burnt Diary
this will give lore on the dungeon to lost for centuries with ancient ruins and treasures.

Quest Series
That night the skies opened and the ground shook not only were the mines destroyed, but something dark and ancient was released
and now the old caves are unstable and full of mobs and undead miners. Your Kingdom has called on the forces of the Dwarven Peoples
to rebuild the mines and ready our troops with gear and weapons for a war on a new plane, to take back the resources and loot some awesome gear
This quest series will be over 5 Quests, Very massive and the idea is from a series I am working the kinks out of for my own game.

Media is of content related to the server, There are other things that are not in a pic such as bosses, as these are basically the same on every server, until I change the mechanics
so if you want to flame my media cause I didn't show enough of the server, no shit, like all server it has bosses and pvp
