    this is great, but wouldn't it be better to just read maps and objects from the cache in the long run, i imagine all the instantiated objects you've placed would lag it unless you are loading it by regions with garbage collection

    I'm still very new to C# so I am unsure if it is possible to load objects directly from the cache (well at least the 718+ caches?)
    I had to do a LOT of resizing of the objects as well to get them to behave with unity - so I am unsure even if I could load objects directly from the cache if it would work.
    The Runescape cache doesn't like people messing with it, and the files aren't exactly easy to get into a usable state

    Yep, tried doing this a while ago, couldn't be bothered. but i think there is a c# system for loading the cache which would work with unity, can't remember what it was called, but if you ever find it have a try at it good luck
