Good luck for release Tyluur
Lookin' gewd so far.
7/19/17
Code:+ Converted networking to use netty 4 library - This came with addition of RSA & ISAAC encryption/decryption + Changed client src to a better 666 src + Added 'lobby server' to be the main connection server - 'World server' support is easy and adding another world is as simple as pressing run - Each world no longer has their own lobby and we have one big lobby server + This might seem like small tasks but check the second photo for context as to how long it takes to do these things right - Credits to Walied for answers & support
Multi world support post-login perfect:
Now to move onto the content, its been a long week...
7/21/17
Code:+ Encountered an irritating issue with packet decoding & resolved it after spending a day on it. - Finished ISAAC decryption with decoding + Finally finished player file synchronization over multiple worlds - Merged lobby server & download server into one server, with different handshake handling. + Started PVM System - Loaded 971 dumped npc combat definitions + These include 1000+ ids of npcs with different bonuses, attack animations, etc + As well as charm drops + As well as drop tables - Wrote npc drop table system & implemented it [with charms] - Wrote npc combat system and implemented it with a test class for npcs that don't have custom swings + Man, guard, woman, hellhound, etc.... - Wrote npc defense bonus calculation for pvm [so realistic hits are done when you're fighting npcs] + Added wilderness area checking to player appearance update block [126 + 12/138 cb lvl]
multi world support ftw
man cant wait to play, looks very promising and a server that I would definitely enjoy
suggestion; maybe make realistic pk bots upon launch of server? incase there's not many players online to pk with?
Tyluur has worked very hard on this project and it will pay off soon! Absolutely can't wait for the release
