    Hey Guys,

    Today's been quite a productive day! We've managed to get quite a few existing issues fixed and continue progress on player vs player combat. We're working hard and as long as all goes to plan, we should be able to host a combat beta within the next week or so! Here is a list of what's been done today!

    Updates:
    • Fixed an issue not allowing bank tabs to be generated
    • Bank toggles functional(swap to note, deposit inventory, etc)
    • Basic special attacks have been implemented for melee combat
    • Skeleton for weapon effects has been implemented
    • Accurate hit formula implemented.
    • Item degrading base has been started.

    We've completed melee combat to the point where we're now satisfied to start making progress on range and magic! Melee isn't yet complete 100%, however, we'll be wrapping that up during the combat beta! We're making excellent progress so far and we're looking forward to getting people's feedback on our system(s)! Expect to see more updates coming within the next day or so!

    Hey Guys,

    It's been awhile since I've posted or bumped this thread. I've been very busy irl over the past couple of months and dropped the project unexpectedly because of it. I've been working on it throughout my free time over those months and spent time fixing numerous issues within the source to prepare it for extensive content. Over those past couple of months, I had continued to work on combat and slowly but surely finish it off. The updates you'll read about below are the changes that have been done to the source over the past couple months as well as some information/media regarding the progress of combat. I apologize for ditching the thread during my absence and now that summer's upon us, I will continue to keep the project alive and work on finishing it! Anyways, let's get into the main purpose of this post.

    Updates:
    • Ancient Magicks has been added
    • Lunar magic has been started
    • Rewrote the special attack system
    • Improved accuracy formula
    • Player skulling system

    Over the next few days I'll be working on range and getting that wrapped up to finalize the combat system and we'll then move on to finishing up some of the other necessary "core" features that are currently stopping us from having a release as of right now. I'll be rather busy working on this, and you guys can expect things to continue going as smoothly as before starting today. Below, you will be able to see what we've got lined up to work on over the next few days. We'll keep you all updated once things get completed!

    Once again, I'd like to thank everyone for the support they've given the project over the past couple of months.     Today's been quite a productive day with development. I spent majority of my day focusing on range combat and some other small tweaks within the core that'll officially finish the tedious tasks and allow us to get started on physical content in the upcoming days. We've still got quite a bit of work left ahead of us before we're able to launch a beta, however, that won't deter us from getting it to a point that we'd be able to do so. Anyways here is a list below of what's been done today.

    Updates:
    • Ancient teleport spells have been added
    • Lunar teleport spells have been added
    • Range combat has been finished

    *NOTE* we still have some tweaking to do with projectiles, but the gifs you saw above should give at least a general idea of how our progress is going.

    For those of you wondering how we've been able to make such fast progress in terms of combat, I'll quickly explain that. Initially before the project was stopped a couple months ago, we were nearly done with melee combat and started the skeleton for magic/range. All that was left for the system(s) was to add the functional items and or special attacks/effects. Apart from it being time consuming to get the data, it became rather easy to implement everything. There's still plenty of things that could be done to improve the system, but we'd like to confidently say, there's been enough of the system completed to make it functional for quite some time at least.

    Now that we've made some great progress with the range system, we'll be focusing on some other core aspects of the server we mentioned briefly about yesterday. The last few things we've to work on to get the "basics" done will be lined out below on our priority to finish and after we complete them, we'll be moving on to skills.
    Here is our list of "core" features left to finish below.
