RSCEDIT 1.0 release note
- Added rectangle selection for tiles and objects.
- I've speed-up several things like object adding, object removing and object deselecting.
- Added an option to enter a height when painting (in the toolbar settings).
- Added the option, if you want to paint using the current object in the + tab (in the toolbar settings). Can be handy when you want to fill an area with trees for example.
- Some small bug fixes.
- Showing interface component events is now much faster.
- Changing sprites in interface components is now much faster.
- Added cache analyzing. This may take some time (1 - 2 minutes) and will only take place the first time you load your cache from now on.
What is cache analyzing?
We have noticed that some users upload a cache containing different types of indices. One may upload a 718 cache containing 667 items for example. When you add your cache, you have to type a revision. The server will then treat the cache according to the revision yo uentered. When the above example takes place, stuff will go wrong.
By analyzing your cache, the server will decide how to treat your cache. You still have to enter a revision when adding a cache, as there is one specific scenario where we can't decide what type of cache a user has.
Will start working on:
- Object sets. Object sets are sets containing multiple objects. Stuff like buildings, grass, ground decorations, fences and stuff like that. Sets that allow you to populate a region fast.
- Interface support for revisions below 569.
- NPC editing.
