Depends on situation.. most of the small stuff takes a few minutes if you know how to do it properly. As for big stuff yeah, those do take longer then people expect. But those are mostly Dungeoneering and such, the rest of the 'big' stuff could be programmed fairly quick, especially with a team that has more then one person working for it. I used to be programming alone and could make more progress.
