We are going to have the 731 revision server however, currently we actually have two different working builds. One of them is the older 718/742 and the newer 731.
The 731 isn't fully fledged out yet because there are many many things that need to have content either partially rewritten or entire elements changed (example rewrite god-wars to previous graphical iteration). Things like packet/component data needs to be rewritten too.
This is because the majority of the time (before making the decision to switch to 731) we used the 718.
It likely will take a while before we completely port everything over - and even once that is done, we really want to have as much content as possible.
Rather than releasing a server which still needs work - it would be far superior to have a server with hours and hours of playable content (things like quests, achievement diaries, FUN minigames and bug free content on launch) - with perhaps 1-2 patches worth of content 90% so that it could be released in the following weeks.
GlitchScape (despite its ironic name) has and always will be a server that strives for full RuneScape emulation, without taking shortcuts or resorting to quick fixes.
Example being a quest I have been working on which features full voice acting throughout, complete painstakingly recreated dialogues and elements to give the quest a much more immersive feel (example proper cut-scenes).
