  Introduction

Avalon II is a 727 Runescape Gamesuite being written from absolute scratch. The purpose of this project is for the developers to broaden their knowledge about the Runescape protocol, networking in general, multithreading, and eventually server hosting.

The motivation behind the project has started after the close down of AvalonPk, a 718 Matrix-based server, due to exploits and ddos attacks. The developers decided to step up their game, and write a 727 framework from scratch.
