I have a small question that might seem dumb, is it possible to use a 718 client on a 637 server? I love my 637 server and have put countless hours into editing npc spawns, object spawns, drop tables, shops, editing skills, etc. I just don't like how editing the client is so tedious. Does anyone know of a 637 client that is somewhat easy to edit, or should I just use a different client revision?

It IS possible, just not in the manner he means or with his equipped knowledge. Fact of the matter is you can load almost any client on any server. Having it function correctly, or at all is the issue.. The data transferring back and fourth between the two and getting them to recognize is the fix. but it will connect or try too at least..Originally Posted by Rookie

Well if you're going to do that, then you've technically just converted your source to a higher/lower revision. You can't take a 718 client and connect it to a 637 source, the packets/js5/and cache just don't, and won't add up.
