what am i missing on this part and how to packed the maps properly? btw im in the process of learning how to update data (higher revision) thanks in advance, have a nice day

Are you learning how to update new revision data by comparing code of 718 loading RS3 data to see what's been changed? Or are you following someone's guidance?
Either way, missing or incomprehensible mapdata is the issue when the client is checking through the cache. Could you try packing <909 data? Maybe from 902-909 cache data and see if it loads through? Your cache might be corrupted or incomplete.
Not quite sure what your issues could be. I doubt its something to do with the raw data of the actual map files since they're not read until the player logs in (except maybe if you enable animated background). It probably has to do with the way you packed the new data. You need to make sure you're using the correct tools to read/write the data because 718 and 910 have different cache formats.
sorry for this noob question, my server can read the rs3 data, as i stated its 718-900 right now, we have tried the 718-905 and make some small edits and we successfully logged in. I was wondering till now do we need to convert the data to rs2 or just packed the data right away to our cache, and is there any tool to do it (we got black screen when packing the rs3 maps (910) so i think we had a problem with the packer it self of we are doing it the wrong way. hopefully someone can explain this data packing i just wanna learn how to packed the latest data to my server..
i decompiled somethin catchy version 2.0 packer and use the method, but the cache lib i use for this is the one i used to run my 718/900
Packer
Cache Lib.
