So i have an issue where the client will load to 2% and the screen goes black after "checking for updates 0%-2% - Black screen. It's a 718, using a 900 Cache is in "Data/Cache/" the port is open, the IP is correct.

The Client functions inside of eclipse without any issues, once packing and exporting into a .jar file it will create the mentioned error.

With the clients Run.bat i get this error:

    Class158.method1702:80 Js5.load:85 Js5.method2292:185 Class125.method1401:235 Class275.method2573:55 client.method2806:2838 client.method2773:619 Class291.method2764:581 Class291.method2759:410 Class291.run:353 java.lang.Thread.run | java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: java.nio.ByteBuffer.position(I)Ljava/nio/ByteBuffer; | 0,0,0,0 0,0,0, 0 0 2 765,503 1 2 1 1 0 0 496 12 -1 hAJWGrsaETglRjuwxMwnlA/d5W6EgYWx
    error_game_crash

It's really frustrating me and i dont know why this is happening. I've tried testing other Caches, i have also tried re-packing the cache, changing an items value in Cache editor just incase it was "corrupt". I'm positive its a client side error and nothing to do with the source. I am also new to coding i'd really appreciate your help.

Running the game locally offline, using its offline jar included functions fine with the server.bat running. It's only server sided running bat then client side with anyone trying to load the error happens.

Same issue probably. What Java version are you using to export the .jar? What Java version are you using to run the client from Eclipse? What Java version are you using to run the .jar? If I had to guess you're using 9 to export, but 8 to run the .jar

The jar is packed with a wrong version of java, had the same issue myself, and to make it work with the first version of my jar beyon 2% loading he had to install JDK. Pack the jar with the correct version and you're good to go.
