Hi I'm looking to pay someone to introduce and show me how to properly add particles and textures and such to modeled items and add them to a server. I'm not the most technically inclined, so name your price. I won't be available to learn until next weekend but I'd like to get a line in the water and give whomever some time to prepare aswell. I currently have blender, not sure if this is the best option or even viable, tho I like it. If you can or you know someone please drop it below. Thanks for reading (:

Particle systems are located in index 27. They have a texture id attached to them and various other fields that set the direction, velocity, randomization, colors, etc. They are attached to models through special vertices that are marked as particle emitters. If you look up things like "model decoder" or "model header" you will find more than enough information to get started with it.

I dont fully understand that haha. Thanks for the reply I really appreciate it! I currently have an item in blender and my uv"s set up and texture in place. Is there any way to add the item I have created to a server and it look roughly the same? If you had any time available and you could add me on discord and give me 5mins whenever you could respond I would be eternally grateful. Or respond here! PM me your cashapp or paypal and I will send you money for helping. Thank you!

I am fairly sure that UV coordinates were added in the RS3 model format at some point but aren't present in older versions. I'm fairly sure you'd have to export the model into a widely used model format and then write a converter to turn it into RS's format. I think the most popular and common way of servers converting models is just exporting in MQO format and using a released MQO to RS model converter.

The UV coordinates have always been there, except for no-texture models (like 317 models). The rendering of those UV coordinates however has been updated in RS3, making the textures look a lot more smooth. This basically means you've to update UV coordinates rendering in your client if you want to support those smooth textures.

Hmm that's interesting to know about. I was comparing the two model formats a few weeks ago and it seemed like there were extra variables added related to UV coordinates which is what I was mentioning. Like variables used to make them more precise and allow for direction and stuff.

Ah. Yeah, that's correct. Few extra variables have been added related to UV coordinates.
