problem solved
thank you all for the help!
Maybe check the firewall on your vps it could be blocking port 43594
Did you portfoward on your VPS?
Did you uploade the chache via a direct link?
Does the client load up and you cant connect or does it fail to load up into login screen?
hey, yes i just checked the vpn the port should be open, the firewall is also deactivated.
the client starts to load but it just stays at 0% and fails to open the login screen, i saw when i run it on eclipse with the vpn ip a "error_game_js5connect" error pops up after a while.
and i havent uploaded the cache, how can i do that?
sorry if im annoying to you guys
its my first time and i want sooo badly to have the server online.
You need to .zip your cache, then you need to upload it to your website and change the cache link in the client files.(cachedownloader)
interesting, somehow i didnt had the cachedownloader so i made my own one which took me soo loong but later i figured out that theres something similar in the folder its just not called cachedownloader...
also tried to connect with one of my friends and was again not able to do so! he told me to try connect with hamachi and after a while i changed some more ips just to see what happens..and booom! it worked lol
will take my notebook with the backup folders to work tomorrow so i can try to make it work with the vps ips.
thanks again for the support, i love this community
The reason it's staying at 0% is becuse it's attempting to download the cache.
Upload the cache somewhere and link that in your client (so it auto downlaods the cache via the client)
I dont know if you're joking about hamachi or not, but this isn't 2005 boss.
If its confusing enough to figure out, and when you have some time I am willingly able to help you fix this on teamviewer or something. Just pm your discord
I honestly don't understand why people are commenting saying "Download your cache and link it in your client" What a load of bollocks that is. Make sure you have your cache UNZIPPED in your SRC/DATA folder like so.
C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\SERVERSOURCE\data\c ache
Problem solved unless you haven't set your Client up properly.
Feel free to add me on discord - Novaa#2876
