I have a source/client that I am playing with that I got off of here. Enoxscape 718/830. I can go over all the code server side fine, but I am not familiar with the 718 client. Some things glitch out, like certain NPCs animations, or character styles. Some objects cause freakish rendering as well. I'm thinking maybe the Object animations are not right? or some packets are just not there.. I have read on here that this is caused by loading 830 objects onto the 718 maps. Is there anyway I can have the client load the old models without re-packing the cache. I don't want to break the game, and I don't really want to start with a different source because I really like this base. I'm not trying to go public with this in anyway at all I just want to play by myself and my friend, but the weird rendering really ticks me.

[edit] I think it might be a Ubuntu issue. However I never ran into any issues with rendering when playing real RS. I've dug around the client and thought maybe it had something to do with face culling so I switched from clock wise to counter clock wise and it seemed to fix the issue in some places, but it is still there.

Download and implement a 830 cache. If you think it is a Ubuntu issue try to use it in Windows if you dual booted your PC. Which I hope you did.
