A server shouldn't need 1gb of memory in the first place - if yours does, you might wanna optimize it a bit cause it definitely could use some. Most of the matrix (considering this is Exylum which is matrix based) servers I've seen use only around 300mb of memory.
The problem in this specific case is certainly the code where it loads the player file, as I said it's most likely a deadlock or an infinite loop or something of a kind that just consumes all the memory there is.

Had the exact same issue, but upgrading the vps didnt help. If it's a memory leak you're mostly fucked since it will give you rollbacks.

He can't have rollbacks if he can't even get the server online...

Are you retarded (don't answer, it's rhetorical)? If he fixes the issue, he'll get his server online and won't have rollbacks, because the issue is fixed.

hey rune-server so at the moment im running across with some issues in the source which is preventing it from being stable. i cant figure out how to fix it and i was curios if someone could point me in the right direction

as far as i know he never stated that its preventing him from going online. Since I had the same issue whíle hosting my previous source, I wanted to give him a heads up since in mý experience, there were rollbacks due to java heap space errors. It made the server crash and cause rollbacks. So no, what you're stating isn't necessarily true.

Sorry - I was a bit too harsh, but I do believe he's not even able to login. It looks like he gets in for a couple seconds and then the error is thrown, which kicks him off shortly after. Sorry again.

No problem, people bash quickly on here anyways. That my account is new doesn't mean I'm an actual noob lol.
