People are just growing out of MMORPGs.

I didn't know where else to post this but maybe someone can help me understand what happend. Why does every RSPS I see have less then 200 players online? Usually there is a few servers with 500+. I've also noticed there has been a decline especially in 718-742 servers, I don't see any many as I used too and there is less than 30 players online when there is one. I've spent the day trying to figure out what's going on; logging in and out of servers. Has the termination of soulsplit caused this? Has the advancement of OSRS provoked this? Has google chromes termination of java web applets caused this? Please someone help me understand what's going on, also please post your opinions on this issue.

I quit the RSPS scene because the work I put in didn't get what it deserved. Leeches get more players than actual effort, or are actually dared to be considered on par. RSPS is dying because of the "lack of innovation." "Nothing new." The reality is when you bring that, nobody comes. The true poison within our community is a strong sense of negativity rather than appreciation.
Ikov is still there, average 400+ daily.
People start a project then lose the motivation due to negativity or some weird reason.. Like me lol
How I see it is like this. No people who haven't played Runescape think that Oldschool Runescape is the best game for them to play. With RS3 being easy as it is no rs players want to come and play Rsps. Basically there was a time from 2001-2013, if you played rs in those times you'll know about an rsps, if not you dont really hear about a rsps being a game that brings high interest.
