Hello, I am working on a RSPS with my brother who is on the same network as me. Is there a way we could both play at the same time without having to port forward? I tried putting the IPV4 Address in the server IP but that didn't work. Should I try the default gateway? And he was also saying something about "Himachi" would that work? Anything would be helpful!
You should not need to port forward on the same network? What source are you using?
Do you have class26.java in your clients folder?

Well...typically when I host betas off my own connection, what I always do is portforward, then go to noip.com, set up a host that goes to my ip, then put the noip ip in my source and client, compile both, download noip's DUC program, sign in with it and select the host I'm wanting to use. Then my server will be online and run off my connection. But I have no experience with your setup or source so I couldn't really give a 100% answer on how you specifically should do it.
if this hasn't been solved yet, all you need to do (if you're on the local network) is set your brothers client to connect to your local IP... you can find your local IP by typing ipconfig/all in the command prompt. it should be something like 192.168.0.2 or whatever your IP is on the host computer. and don't forget to compile
as long as you're on the same local network you do not need to port forward, and do not need hamachi.
