I am currently running on Feather 718/742 source and have problems climbing ladders or man-holes.
For example when trying to climb the one in Port Sarim
Also when talking to NPCs at the port (Seaman Lorris) and choosing Talk/Pay fare
Apparently the man-hole/NPC simply exists but isn't coded to act on the player's options.
I am new to RSPS server development (used to develop MaplePS) so I have no idea what is supposed to work and what is not. As such, I have a few questions regarding the situation.
1. Am I the only person who is having problem with this since I can't find any threads pointing towards this problem for version 718 or was it never working?
2. Was this feature (climbing man-holes) built into the source at all? I looked up on what might be causing this problem and was only directed to ActionHandler.java (for older RSPS versions) which doesn't seem existent in this source. I even downloaded several other 718 sources and failed to locate this ActionHandler.java
3. If the feature isn't existent/ contained within a different file, what file do 718 servers use to handle such operations? (Climbing man-holes or talking to NPC for travel)
Linking to up-to-date threads (718 and above) that explains this would help as well!
Update: I tested the man-hole in Varrock and it worked. This means the feature is in the game except that certain man-holes aren't coded and etc. If that's the case, then which file do I look to if I intend to code them?

You need to handle these objects by yourself, look in objecthandler
For 718, most of "npcs, objects, etc" are handled in com/rs/net/decoders/handlers.
