    okay so how do you download JDK on a windows server 2008 R2 Enterprise server? i downloaded JRE but there doesnt seem to be a download for it? how to i install JDK on there? need help fairly quickly
    any help is appreciated

    When I had a VPS I just transferred my JRE and JDK from my computer to the VPS, easier imo.

    You can try downloading it from java.com if that didn't worked out.. Just like you did on your main P-C, btw what VPS you're using from what website, i'm looking for a goodone

    im using the second windows vps option at port hosts semm to be good atm I just need to setup the java etc

    yeah i got it working now, It let me download JRE but thats all i need to run the server
