[711]reduce the image quality or delete some child sprites ERROR

I'm trying to pack a custom background into my 711 cache but I get this error:

reduce the image quality or delete some child sprites

Is there a way to increase the quality of image for what you can pack?

use photoshop or something like it to lower the quailty.
