So today I turned my computer off, and then later today I tried logging into my server and my password was changed. I tried it a couple of times and it still didn't work. I went to check my character bin file and there was nothing in it, and there's encrypted text in the other character files.

I'm not sure what happened but some how the information in my character file got deleted but the character file was still there.

This hasn't just happened to me, it's happened to some other players as well.

Does anybody know what the problem is/how to resolve this?

you gotta shut the server down before you turn ur pc off. i had my server on once just to test some update with some mates and we had a mass storm cut the power out and when it came back i turned my pc on again from being turned off and the passwords didnt work so i had to delete all the people files *Note* Make Backups every hour
