I was just thinking if u make the account saving and loading same and make them load from same directory, would it be possible to run 317+ & 508+ servers like world 1 & world 2???
LIKE THIS:
World 1: 317 server
World 2: 508 server
it would be great if ppl could play on my both servers without making new accs...
Yes and no.
Trouble is you'd have to revert to the lower common denominator (317) so your 508 wouldn't support new stuff (unless you did some smart stuff to deny 317 access if you have 508 items or you are in a 508 location). Also your character may well be stuck in walls/whatever because the maps have slightly changed in some cases.
but what if, i would some how add a method so, it would block the login to 317 world, if u are on 508 area or something....

well it would be kinda hard to have same bases, because the version difference is like 200...
but if i would get just a 317+ and 508+ bases, which just saves things like: coords,height,look,items,bank,pass,username,rights etc. just the basic things...
i would wanna try to do this, can any1 search download links for those kind of bases??
