This is the opensource of my 667 npc/item/object definitions editor and model packer. It's not very clean, I slapped 'er together, but may contain some useful information for someone + I guess more than a few people are having issues running the .jar so hopefully you can figure out why.
Credits to @Shnek for the opensource interface editor, I essentially just duplicated that and made it work for this purpose.

NOTES:
- Make sure to edit the .properties file so the path directs to the cache you're editing.
- Main class is EditorLauncher.java
- Not every definition is accurate, not entirely sure which as I stopped working on this a while ago, but I remember that the map sprite position offset 1 and 2 in the object definitions is not correct.
- I guess some people were having some issues duplicating/editing NPC's as well, not sure why, it seems to work fine for me but something to keep in mind.
Is this missing a file? In the EditorLauncher.java, it says cannot resolve symbol "jvnet", and when I check the org file, there isn't a jvnet in there.
Thanks for releasing! You should consider using git
I just re-downloaded it and I'm still getting that same error in the EditorLauncher. Error147, 78) java: package org.jvnet.substance.skin does not exist
I ended up just commenting out that line though and importing a different look and feel so looks good now.
Great program! Thanks a lot for sharing! Will be making my own personal changes and stuff to see what all I can add.
You should consider putting this on github so others can contribute!
I included it in the “resources” folder so all you should have to do is hover over that error, click “Project Setup” and include substance-lite.jar (in eclipse) but yeah changing the look and feel is definitely a way to go! And thanks, I’m glad you’re finding it useful! You and shnek are right about github, to be honest I have not even learned git yet. I’ve been putting it off but that’s definitely something I should be getting into.
Ah I'm using IntelliJ so I don't really have that option. I tried adding it to the existing libraries but it wouldn't work for some reason.
Yeah as for github, it's honestly super easy; there's really only like 4 or 5 git commands you'll need to know to become a pro pretty much. But lmk if you ever need help on git, it's one of my specialities!
