So now that we've recognized that you're aware that they're lacking, what do you want to do about it?

Rune-server is definitely disorganised and somewhat of a mess in places but it's gigantic and over ten years history so no shit. I've looked elsewhere this is definitely the best documentation bar a couple of rando githubs and obviously the code itself. Would like to see more though. I know that begs the question of why not do it yourself. Simply I don't know enough, I know people are under no obligation to give their time or expertise but I'm a hobbyist through and through with a passion for the game rather than actual programming (it's an afterthought I learned for the game, I work in an unrelated profession, this year and last the first time I've been active in eight bloody years), but I can spot problems this community has and one of those is definitely that it's a very tightly knit group where everyone who knows the know benefited from those who knew more than them behind closed doors. I'm a bit like a patient who dabbled in medical school now cheering on a better doctor to cure cancer. The forum needs revitalising and presence. It needs more people like Greg releasing things even if people do consider it easy or whatever.

I'm doing something to help resolve the problem.
The problem isn't one for me to solve independently.
    Thus the creation of RuneDocs.

I can only speak for myself, but it seems to be the rational thing to give back to the community as much as you can, where possible, after considering what the community [as a whole] has done for each of us individually.
I don't know why this discussion/argument is still going on, besides the enjoyment Scu gets from arguing.

I don't think that's the best use of your time/capability.

    That's anecdotal.

correct, which is why i'd never think im entitled to tell somebody how their own free time is best used by presuming that they should value the same goals in life as me

Was I wrong to assume you wanted to help further RSPS development?
