Noob question incoming, what do configs really do? Ik they change something about the interface, but what is their main purpose? Soz for the noob questions again. It's just because I see these dumps of them and don't understand what their used for

Player variables (varps, or what's called "Configs" in this post) are variables attached to a player's account. They're used to track things like quest progress, xp tracker settings, farm patch status, chat filter settings, etc. In the actual game, many of these varps are saved along with other account information (skills, inventory, location, etc) in the player file.
Client variables (varcs, or "GlobalIntVar" and "GlobalStringVar" in this post) are related to the status of the client itself. They remember things like default worlds, graphics settings, etc, which are linked to the machine the player is playing on, rather than their account (so if they switch accounts, those settings will be the same). Many of these variables aren't saved (such as information about the current open interface), and are lost when the player logs out or the client is closed.
