Hey!
That's right! I've officially joined RuneForged as their client developer. Specializing mostly in design, I've been tasked with the creation and configuration of the all new RuneKit that incorporates many of the popular third-party plug-ins to present an enjoyable and smooth experience to our community. Alongside the development of RuneKit, I will also be assisting and leading the charge of refactoring our client so that we can provide new and innovative ways to design content tailored to our communities wants and needs.
A few things on my current road-map are as follows, and are subject to change at anytime.
- Conceptualize RuneKit to be a modern and intuitive version of a famous third-party client
- Construct RuneKit into code and begin work on implementing it flawlessly within our client, giving users the choice between a basic frame or the RuneKit
- Begin identifying, refactoring, and putting into use basic client systems such as rasterizer, font, draw distance modification, sprite drawing, interface manipulation, and more
- Develop a plug-in system for RuneKit that can enable or disable plug-ins based on the users preference
- Continue refactoring the client and working on content that may be polled
- Begin visual concepts for a launcher or feed, and continue to improve RuneKit
I'm extremely excited to be apart of a team that not only has the motivation and direction I value in development, but also one that I can learn and grow my own skill set with. The future is bright for Rune-Forged, and we're going to start bringing some great stuff to the table! Thank you!
