these are both opinions but you’re trying to display them as facts as if whatever you say is correct. without any support to back up your claims what kind of argument are you even trying to debate. if i go in s advertise thread and say “this server isn’t a great economy” is barebones equivalent to what you’re doing.
we appreciate the feedback but the flat out “trying to over analyze the situation” is getting too much over here. sorry your ideas in rsps failed i guess?
edit: we are allowing the player to choose whatever they want, there isn’t some higher power forcing them to play certain worlds like what you’re proposing???

Stop saying fake words like "we appreciate the feedback." You appreciate nothing. Never have I seen such a close-minded owner where any sort of feedback is taken as a personal attack rather than seen as us trying to see the betterment of your server. I gain literally NOTHING sitting here offering criticism about your server, and especially with you having such a thick skull that you just resort to using argumentation rather than actually hearing out. I told you before, I just want to see a higher revision server have success. I don't want your hard work to go to waste as many, many times mine has. I've been offered this same batch of criticism multiple times in my 8 years doing RSPS. I too wanted multiple worlds, my players convinced me otherwise. I relay to you what the players think, you relay to me what the barricade across your brain speaks. Do you want a server to go far? Do you want to make sure all this money, effort, and time you spend on this server goes well? Listen to your players then. Listen to criticism. Take in criticism. Why are you attacking me so rudely? I'm expressing to you my opinion, never did I say it was a fact. Can you retort my opinion?
What the actual hell Jordan? I'm sorry for offering my opinion. I say my points as I think of them. Why do you feel that I'm attacking your server?
No? I offered points as to why I feel that way. Is all you do read what one's opinion is and not the reasoning behind it? You're the definition of close-minded.
Is all you're seeking for praise? I'm offering you loads of feedback, where the hell am I over analyzing the situation? I'm speaking to you from 4 or so previous servers where I got the exact same criticism. Why not take some advice for once?
How insecure are you that you resort to personally attacking me while I try to help you?
Of course not, neither did I propose it. I simply advised you to centralize all those ideas to one server. Spawn PK? Go for a spawn PKing minigame. Economy? The main server can be economy. What's the point of multiple worlds with linked accounts when the same can be achieved in one world. As for RSPS mode, you could even go with the idea of choosing your EXP rate.
I'll go ahead and put the rest of my criticism for the server here as I already told you before. It doesn't seem like you're much of a listener, so perhaps your other staff are more open minded:
Your response to this was quite insightful: "thanks"- Account creation, confusing
- Consider making a bank at home AND making that the default spawn location.
- The home needs more centralization. It's too spaced out. I tried for the same idea where the home would be a hub for every single skill in-game (besides Construction and Agility), it didn't work out.
- Teleportation needs to be more clear-cut rather than cities. I don't know what Lumbridge might have other than those level 3 rats behind the castle. Varrock? Do I wanna go to Thessalia's Fine Clothes shop or what?
- The server needs a direction. I don't get what I wanna do at all when I log in. I've legit just walked around this home for 10 minutes trying to find a bank lmao. I tried interacting with NPCs and one guy has no shop working and the other guy listed a buncha random cities idk why I'd wanna go. What I mean by direction is make clear cut areas to train. Nobody is on the RS grind in an RSPS. If you are trying to attract that playerbase, you will find very, very few. I capped at about 15 when my goal was the same as that. 15 made me no money whatsoever, but it made me some friends I guess.
- I'm sure you've developed diligently on content for this server for months. Take a break from that and try to figure out your server as a(n oblivious) player. There's no use in having a lot of content if I don't know how to access it. That's essentially dead content.
- Servers are successful nowadays because people know what they wanna do as soon as they log in. They have a flow. You need to get that flow stronger. Your advertisement says, "Defeat Scary Monsters," but I have no idea how to even access those monsters. If I have to walk to them from the cities, I might as well quit. You have to play with people's ego of "I want everything now" and tease around with it for them to be incentivized.
- I'm not sure what your EXP rate will be when you're not in beta, but I would keep it in mind while making your content for the early game.
- There looks like a lot of end-game content and not really a lot of early game content. That could be because it's open beta, though.
- The home tab doesn't even take me back to Entrana. How do I get to Entrana??
you have nothing to do with the server. you hop on for 2 mins and think you know everything about the server and history like "you are a player". if you checked the #suggestions channel in our Discord, you'd probably already find everything you're trying to tell me already suggested in there. people wanted to be able to play the server while we work out the development process so we opened a public beta for it. the point of the server right now is to just let players do whatever they want, there is no point to play right now (in a serious manner) and i'm the first to say that. the reason anyone should play the server right now is to help us find issues with the game that we can fix, and we have a loyal group of people who do just that for us.Stop saying fake words like "we appreciate the feedback." You appreciate nothing.
??????? then you turn around and try to do the same thing to us? maybe if you read our posts/threads about the server you'd have more information on what we are trying to accomplish. you're borderline slandering us because the same thing happened to you. again, from my "attack"I just want to see a higher revision server have success. I don't want your hard work to go to waste as many, many times mine has. I've been offered this same batch of criticism multiple times in my 8 years doing RSPS.it really does sound like you have something going on with yourself internally here.sorry your ideas in rsps failed i guess?
this is merely an exchange of blows and you started them. im merely defending myself since you attacked me. sorry. Why are you attacking me so rudely? I'm expressing to you my opinion, never did I say it was a fact. Can you retort my opinion?
we are not seeking praise, but that is always appreciated. you are 100% over-analyzing the situation by trying to explain to me my player statistics of the future because of your personal opinion on what you think a rsps should be.Is all you're seeking for praise? I'm offering you loads of feedback, where the hell am I over analyzing the situation? I'm speaking to you from 4 or so previous servers where I got the exact same criticism. Why not take some advice for once?

Labelling your opponent's argument as opinion isn't a valid form of refutation. It's easier for you to argue that an objective set of propositions are subjective, opposed to actually making any real counterargument against them; which is very intellectually lazy and dishonest.
So do you have any valid counterargument(s), or?
small bump!
updated the beta with some extra commands. enjoy

Hey gang!
It's been Jordan's birthday weekend, so your favorite client developer is here to today to talk about what's been happening on RuneForged and with the RuneKit.
Creature Panel, discussion on game screenl
The first major update to RuneKit has been the "creature" panel! Derived from the health overlay of OSBuddy, I decided to kick things up a notch and include other information such as combat levels, a/d stats, and the top 6 most valuable drops from the creature you are fighting.
I decided that I wanted to utilize the full potential of RuneKit and keep as much information as possible away from the game screen. Nothing kills an aesthetically pleasing game like RuneScape than to overload it with interfaces, overlays, and chat box spam. I personally feel chagrined when two, four, even six multi-colored texts come flying into the chat box about events I don't really care about, or overlays such as the health overlay that maybe I just don't want to look at in that present moment. Enter, RuneKit. I've been working on making the client show information when you want it, or when you don't want it. This will include things such as "Alerts", which will have toggles and settings for you to customize what you want to see and when you want to see it.
Special thanks to Quacked for the design of the creature tab components
Speaking of alerts...
Alerts will be one of the best ways to interact between RuneKit and RuneForged. Fancy browsing Reddit while you train your woodcutting? RuneKit will alert you when you're not woodcutting anymore. Off-screen but getting a private message? RuneKit will let you know about it. With all of the available ways for us to show you alerts, you'll never miss anything happening in-game again.
Special credits to Nikki for her Alertify program. With a few modifications, I was able to fine tune her brilliant work into something a little more usable for myself.
Lookup Player Option
Another fun feature to show off is the new "Lookup" player option. This works exactly how OSBuddy does by automatically switching you to the hiscores panel and looking up the player that you just interacted with. This should save you some time as you play the world of RuneForged and not feel that you have to type in every player's name that you meet.
Not featured in image list
I have also performed the following updates on the Kit that are not worthy/cannot be shown with a screenshot:
- Spacebar/Number Keys for continuing Dialogue
- "ESC" key to close interfaces
- Fix on resizing crash
Thanks for checking in on RuneForged today! We'll be back with an update post next week.
