    I have been playing Darkan for about 2 weeks now, and I have bounced around from RSPS to RSPS having played over a dozen of them within the last year alone. As much as I hate to admit it, some of the previous posters are right. For some reason I never quite understand, it seems that all of these servers with like 100x rates, super high ridiculous droprates, and custom items, teleports and pvp centered content etc.. all of these have player counts in the hundreds. Meanwhile runescape remakes, or servers that closely emulate original RuneScape, such as Vidyascape, rune rebels, rs-remake, and a few others, barely have 5 to 10 players on average, with Vidyascape averaging the most out of them with 30 to 40 players online regularly ( I have played Vidyascape, it's too slow for me) point is, although I like having more content and more originality, I fear that due to the preferences of the RSPS community and those who play RSPS, sadly I don't expect players to come running to this server. I would be shocked if we ever passed 50 people playing let alone 10 or even 20. I remain hopeful, but it seems today most people want quick levels, quick cash and the option to suit up quick for pvp. People just aren't up for the grind anymore, and once they log in and see only 2 or 3 people playing, they are likely to go elsewhere. But I wouldn't let that stop you. Private servers that stay true to the originality of the game and strive to contain the full content, those are rare. Hundreds of RSPS's exist, but true remakes you are lucky to find 1 out of a hundred, and I doubt more than 5 or 10 exist at all.

    Tons of engine optimization work done and registering via the website for email recovery. Drop table system that emulates very accurate Runescape rates has been finished too. Any NPC that has exact rates down to the fraction ratio on the wiki should be in the server now. Check out the discord for an extensive list of updates in the updates channel.

    Mining, Fishing, and Woodcutting all have been re-coded and a skilling success rate formula that operates how Jagex's does has been implemented into the game allowing for resource and experience rates that match real RS to be implemented.
    All experience rates for those 3 skills have been fixed to not use Matrix's awful and inaccurate success rates and the number of logs, fish, and ore per hour should mirror the real game's.
    Every single mineable and choppable object in the game has had the correct stump or empty rock when gathered from.

    Christmas event has been released up until the 6th of January. Head to Varrock Square and help Santa and the Queen of Snow plan out their Christmas feast and throw some snowballs at each other! As with other events, there is an emote and special reward for completing the event. Merry Christmas!
