    Hello, and welcome to Nalores next update log!

    After a few days of working on some back-end code, we're back to making some visual updates and bringing more things together. Please check out our update list below, and associated media!


    • Added an interface to open custom shops, this allows us to have our shops at home tied together in one area while still allowing other shops around the world to work as normal
    • Added support for custom crowns & ranks, as well as donator icons. Support for game mode crowns (ironman symbols, etc) is still yet to be done.
    • Changed the Buy-X menu on shops to be more aligned with OSRS
    • Finished up the experience counter, excluding settings. Can now reset the counter, and fixed a graphical issue with more than 2> drops on the same tick
    • We took a 637 cache and replaced all 667 maps that are similar with their 637 variants. This means we still retain certain maps such as the Glacors cave, but a place like Draynor or Edgeville won't look as gloomy/dark. We feel this change enhances our game and feels more "natural" as opposed to the changes made in the 667 revision.

    That 1 building in draynor seems to have bugged wall on height 1.

    Introducing Player Examines! This idea was taken from the RS3 "Examine" player option, and we injected a few of our own ideals. Ideally this interface shows your recent achievements, current equipment, status and more. I'll go into more detail with images below. To access this screen, you will be able to "examine" other players using a right-click option on them, or you can access your own screen via a link in the Quest/BP/Info/Achievements tab.

    We spent quite a bit of work making sure that this interface worked as seamlessly as possible when viewing another player, and we're happy to say it's in a good enough shape to show it off a little bit!



    Info/Status Tab

    • To be expanded upon, this screen will show your status (that you can set yourself), your player model, and basic information about your character
    • The information component will eventually be expanded and allow you to toggle what you wish other players to see when they examine you. From things like slayer tasks completed, to play time.

    Stats Tab
    • This tab displays your current stats, and includes hovers to show individual experience for the stat, and total experience.
    • Note* We plan on removing Dungeoneering as a skill, and introducing it as a mini-game instead

    Log Tab
    • This tab will show your recent achievements, drops, etc. Similar to how the adventurer's log works.
    • It contains an invisible scrollbar that allows you to see more achievements than what the size of the container allows

    Options Tab
    • Only visible if you are viewing your own examine
    • You can set certain options, including toggling whether or not you can be examined and setting your status
    • You can choose which color the border around your player will be
    • Eventually will be expanded to toggle certain information on your character that will be visible in the info tab

    Gear Tab
    • This tab will show the current gear you are equipping
    • Eventually plan to have a button that can display which cosmetic overrides the player is wearing
