Yeah, it didn't work on ARM either, platform support is unfortunately rather poor although they have done some great stuff like HD works on amd64 Linux
At some point, somebody decided to break compatibility with all architectures except x86 by having the client load amd64-only binaries on startup (Discord rich presence) and hang indefinitely on failure

This is one of the really strong points of 2009Scape as it does tend to be well-supported, and this was fixed easily
