Hello Web-dev friends, I'm currently working on an intranet for a company.
Their current Intranet is using Wordpress. Wordpress is only cool for Sites showcase in my opinion.

    Any advices ?

I want to use an other CMS, which one should I use ?

    Thanks.

What is the purpose of the intranet? Is it a wiki? A discussion site?

Hey Man, thanks for your answer.

On the intranet, the employee will find :

    - Last News
    - Links to all internal tools (GLPI, Internal cloud...).
    - a Directory of all employee of the company
    - IT tips
    - a Directory of Procedure. (exemple : How to use the compagny cloud)
    - an Activity page (Kinda a forum, but just with one category)

I'd just use Wordpress. It does what you need and it's easy enough to set up.

I'm not the most experienced with it, but a family member of mine recommended ThoughtFarmer to me.

What's the actual problem with your current CMS; is your current CMS not meeting the requirements? The answer will impact your choice. Like any other tool, which CMS you use depends on your requirements.

Recruiting new people? Choose a CMS which has a large community, as less training will be needed. What are your requirements?

If there are no good reasons to change, don't waste your time migrating. Don't fix what isn't broken - use that time & effort for solving issues.
