If you're going to be charging $300-800 for a website ( which is what professionals do ), this isnt a place for you. There are people here who charge $50 for top quality websites.

If anyone is interested in professional web design services get in touch with me. I have designed a number of websites for small businesses and a few for tech start ups in my area. In order to retain my anonymity and that of my clients I won't post any of my projects, but if you are interested in seeing what I can do for you let me know on skype or email! For those interested in learning about web design or web development I can offer lessons at an hourly rate (typically I've been able to get people up to speed in approximately 3-5 hours and after that it just becomes more of a modern design course). Again I apologize for not being able to put forth more information concerning my qualifications, but I will definitely be available to talk to before you decide to commit to a project or lesson.
Skype: vverum
Email: [email protected]
In terms of pricing I'm extremely flexible - I typically charge $30/hour for lessons however seeing as I will need to create a network of users to verify my authenticity I will be temporarily giving lessons at a rate of $10/hour using teamviewer and skype. For web design projects this will vary depending on the complexity of the project, but it will probably fall between $300 - $800 unless you have an extremely small or extremely large project. In terms of graphic design I will often bring in industry professionals (and friends) who will receive payment from my share of the agreed price.
Payment will be handled through paypal - for lessons the charge is hourly so we will have to coordinate before hand whereas for projects I will provide free consultation before accepting or rejecting the project. If I decide to accept the project 25% of the agreed upon amount will have to be paid for up front and the remaining 75% after the project is complete. If I do reject a project it is either because I do not have the time to commit to your project or because I feel that I simply cannot deliver the services you require (it will probably happen more due to time, I doubt there is much you could ask for that I would reject besides creating a social network).
Web design and development is an extremely fun way to get introduced to programming concepts while creating a viable product. For those taking lessons you will learn the latest in web design - Html, Html 5, Css, Css 3, SASS, Javascript, Jquery, Node, PhP, MySQL, and possibly Python depending on what you want to learn. After you've learned the programming additional lessons will revolve around marketing and SEO.
For those interested in taking me on as a web designer for your project please feel free to contact me, even if I don't have the time or the price is out of your budget I will happily talk to you about web design and the best route for your project over skype or email

Goodluck with this, It seems odd that you don't even post your portfolio for given examples of your work. Would be nice if you did other wise i'd be second guessing to do $10/Hour to someone with no portfolio.
I do web design for a living, you'll come to learn this isn't a place to earn a living when it comes to website services or any type. I've been asked to go classes or teach but the best option is to make the information present, let them figure it out and help them when confused.
Alright then, maybe I'll do some volunteer teaching when I have time then. Thank you for the feedback - I realize now that this won't be a profitable venture, monetarily anyways ;P I did realize that keeping my personal portfolio separate from this would be difficult, so I guess I'll have to do some reputation building
