Good luck with this
Hey, looking for experienced developers for one of my side projects
Making a next generation osrs bot software [premium]
I can sponsor, if you are interested post here.
I am capable of this, this program requires reflection and knowledge of Swing.
Beyond that, you have to maintain a sturdy API for scripters to use. There are different paradigms that can be used (some prefer procedural APIs, others prefer declarative), and being able to quickly find & extinguish bugs is a must if you don't want the project to fail.
The OP should post this request on rs-hacking.
Thanks genius, hooking is the same thing as reflection API in java. You just learnt more from me than that wikipedia page in 1 sentence.
You can confirm what I say with this historical article about bot clients from 2012 here -> https://www.sythe.org/threads/introduction-into-rs-client-hacking/. Please study your history, and study more computer science, at-least study java if you are going to be on a forums where java is the main programming language responsible for the game engine and client of the game we love
- hooks have as much to do with java as they do any other language with reflection or reflection-esque properties
- I said nothing about bot clients nor runescape nor java
- a minute ago you said "hooks" is an RSPS dev term

We get hooks by finding a pattern over multiple revisions for one field/methodUsing reflection/introspection for obtaining data is easy. Finding the correct data is the part I was emphasizing.Updaters are a hot topic in RS client hacking, they allow us to get hooks at the click of a button. We create patterns and use them in our updater and our updater prints out the hooks location
