    About:
This is being written in java and utilizes a lot of the API classes and interfaces aswell as some external libraries such as JTattoo. I'm creating this tool as a helpful device to reduce item inflation caused by duping, glitching, and bug abuse. There are currently three features right now but the list grows each and every day.

    Updates:

    • JMenuBars have been added to each addon panel for multiple viewable addons
    • Addons can now be closed from the main screen
    • Main screen length increased to 900px
    • Main window can now be iconified

    Current Addons:
    • Character Backup Addon - Automatically creates a character backup file every 6 hours, with an additional option to manually backup.
    • Replace Line - Replace any line in any or all files with another
    • Wipe Items - Search for a possible glitched item in both the inventory and bank files of each player and check how many of that item the player has. If they have over a specified amount which is contingent on an input field, the item ID and amount is altered to your choice.

    Future Addons:

    • Viewable output of all current trade for the server session. Options to clear, search, and save the output.

reduce item inflation caused by duping, glitching, and bug abuse
mfw you can't just remove the "dupes, glitches, and bugs" that cause "inflation"

also inflation because this fixes stalls that give out 5k every time you click them

    i don't see the point

    Why can't i remove the items caused by dupes, glitches/bugs? Haha honestly I don't think you understand inflation;

    in·fla·tion

    [in-fley-shuhn] Show IPA

noun1.Economics . a persistent, substantial rise in the general level of prices related to an increase in thevolume of money and resulting in the loss of value of currency ( opposed to deflation ).

    2.the act of inflating.

    3.the state of being inflated.

An item amount increases because of the economic downfall caused by the aforementioned issues that I try so hard to reduce. This tool helps control such inflation like courts control convicts.

all i saw were the words deflating, inflating, and inflated because you made it unreadable on the good skin.

you know how you control people from duping, glitching, and abusing bugs (the same as glitching)? remove the glitches. given that the servers of today are made by people who don't know how to program, i get the intended purpose. the fact is the best way to fix the problem is removing the cause, not the symptoms.

jagex doesn't have to force items out of people's inventories and banks because they want to combat inflation. over time, as long as money is being created, there will be inflation. you don't understand how it works, because you think you can battle inflation on private servers. i bet you have a stall on your server that gives you like money when you click it. it's impossible to battle inflation in a game like runescape because the entire economy is based on generating new items out of nothing and then having a common medium to exchange for those new items. gold (the common medium) can be created by exchanging items for gold (alchemy, sell to shop, etc.) and the only way for money to go out of the game is through people buying from shops. you still have the problem of drops and things like fishing spots creating new items out of nothing. it's inevitable for inflation to creep into your server based on the way the game works.

the easier an item is to get, the less valuable it is. the more gold there is, more gold is required to get the item. it all scales based on the value of the item (which remains separate of the value of gold). the only way to stop inflation is to stop new items from being made out of nowhere (gold, drops, fishing spots, etc.) which doesn't really work in runescape. good luck with that.

all considered, maybe you don't understand how inflation works.

Honestly you're taking this way to seriously. I read this all, but there is no reason to comment on every section and dissect it because again, there is no point. This is not an argument. I'm using this tool as a means to deplete inflation caused by glitches, and dupes. I'm not arguing that this tool prevents it, nor am I discussing how we reduce inflation but yes, we have several aspects of the game that do just that.
