PM me with your skype, I can provide a free e-book that came with the real book I purchased to study for it long ago. I also have a training program to recommend for you that only runs about $10.

I'm not totally sure where to put this, but it seemed like the best spot for what I needed. Feel free to move it wherever it needs to go.
Quick introduction, I have been writing and revising in Java for years, but only became comfortable and knowledgeable enough last year to write my own projects and libraries. I have worked on small-scale desktop applications and servers, but have never had to apply my knowledge in a real-world setting, per se. I want to open some opportunities for entry-level jobs in my area (St. Louis - Metro East area, to be exact) by testing for my programming certification. The exact test will be for Java SE 8, more specifically, 1Z0-808.
Here is where I would love some feedback. The review topics from Oracle's webpage seem simple enough, and I have started working on a study guide/repository, but the practice questions seem to confuse me a bit. When put into practice, I can figure the majority of my code-related errors out through the console, but the multiple choice sample questions have screwed me every time. I'm worried that I may overthink the questions and screw up too many times, which seems like a waste of $245.
For those of you who have taken the Java 8 exam, my question is to you - what resources did you use to study? All of my knowledge is self-taught, as I have never taken a class, but I worked through the majority of and read a few O'Reilly books here and there. I want to get as much practice as I can so that I have no issues with the test, so here is what I have done so far:
- Begun writing and revising a study guide/repository that includes informative text and sample code to illustrate the exam review topics.
- Ordered the following three exam preparation books from the library - Boyarsky, Sierra, and Finnegan.
- Found a few free online practice exams at Oracle, Certification-Questions, and Oracle Study.
- Subscribed to the complete Java SE 8 developer boot camp on Udemy, which includes OCA exam preparation. There is a sale going on through the end of today that marks a load of courses down to $10, but the course is normally on sale for a decent price and there are nearly always coupons online.
Is there anything else I could be doing? Does anyone else have any valuable resources? I am open to paying for quality resources if I have a recommendation, but I would much rather pay nothing or next-to-nothing so that I can pass the test with minimal amounts spent. Does anyone have any advice? I am all ears on what anyone has to say.
Thank you in advance!

Bump, still looking for resources, if anyone has got them.
