Hey guys, lets make this thread a place where we can share good reads we've done on the web. Let me kick off with this review of the Quake 3 networking engine

Found this awesome unix-like kernel. It's so small that it's easy to understand. I'm using to for my OS learning atm

Monads are just Monoids in the category of Endofunctors. What is the problem?

Awesome talk about the magical wonders of functional programming. Made me understand what the fuck the Y-combinator does behind the scenes and that's a plus. Go watch it!

i was going to post this last night but wasn't sure if a talk would be alright too.

i think it's imperative that people understand what's being discussed in the talk and i know you had a thread about singletons and such a while back. i really like the guy giving the talk, too.

also is a good one too. just a interesting perspective to consider.
