2D MMO [Apply now] need developers

To join and get the latest revision:

Not much yet, but it has potential.

If anyone is good with client/server communication, or knows a good framework let me know.

Why does everyone say MMO. Do you even know what it means? MMO = Massively Multiplayer Online (game), which means that the game is scaled massively with thousands of people playing simultaneously. Do you think Runescape was called MMO or MMORPG when it was first created? It wasn't.
I suggest you call it RPG or at least MORPG or MO (multiplayer online), but not massively multiplayer... :fp:

This is just a friendly suggestion so you wouldn't make fun out of yourself afterwards ;)

I think it should be OM, not MO multiplayer online doesn't sound right

You are asking if anyone knows a base to use or knows about networking? So basically you are asking someone to either give you the game or make you the game.

Nice one, go learn some java then post a thread like this AFTER you have started the game YOURSELF.

MORPG Isnt a genre

MMO is capable of supporting hundreds/thousands of players., Not by how many people play it.

However the above is wrong in some situations.( i think it depends on the type of mmo i dont know)
