This project was built from Palidino's released basic 2d MMORPG, although ive rewrote basically the whole thing the connection stuff is still the same as i couldn't find anyway to improve it.
Im not going to list loads of stuff about it here, im really quite bored and lazy.
Anyway, ill update this thread with my progress, here is the progress as of now;

lol your creating your own runescape classic, this is ahead of rsc cause you have walking emotes and minimizable chat box, this is really amazing considering it's from scratch

Not 100% sure yet, if i could find someone good at graphic's who would be willing to partner up and with me and create new characters etc then i would be willing to take this to the end.Quote:

Ive already done more than this video;
- Player right click options and multiplayer animations work.
- Interfaces fullscreen and gamescreen settable via server.
- New interface system with colours, sprites and draggable stuff.
- Item handling, just no items yet lol.
- Attack handling is also in process. Ive got basic player and npc hitting and defending, basic hit updating just need to make dying and stuff.

I started a 2D mmorpg well over a year ago, i just didn't know enough to make it actually work. I had basic logging in and displaying characters but my drawing method's sucked and used to flicker. I posted about it ages ago but i removed the post because i quit the project.
Anyway, faeorn is going to fail. It's been knocking around about a year and what's zach and ben done in the last 8 month's? Nothing apart from adding a bit of scenery, they only just added object support.
