No one will want to change their password every time they are done botting. The rest of the tips are good though.

Most of the very best scripts are compiled java scripts (.jar files)
Because of that, you can't see the code, and there could very easy be evil code in the compiled jar file.
Here's a few things you can do to protect you self.
1. Use powerbot in a virtual machine.
You will need a windows xp iso file, and you will need virtualbox, witch can be found here: VirtualBox
Here's a guide for installating a OS in virtualbox:
How to: install a new operating system on VirtualBox | Onsoftware
You can download a minimal xp installation here: http://rapidshare.com/files/28121193..._warez-bb_.rar
(Xp performance september edition '180 mb')2. DO NOT have high value items out from bank when botting.3. DO NOT enter you pin under account settingsIf you are using precompiled scripts, this should make the chance of being hacked alot smaller .4. When you are completely done boting, you should change your password
(Not from the virtual machine)
Most people are only boting for a periode of time, so by that It would be a good idea to change password

Repped, although everything that was said above is true. Just don't bot?
I have a Pin on my bank. + I"ll change almost each day my password afther using Powerbot. I'll just want to be carefull
Numbers, it's a fact people bot.
I should tell you though, using precompiled scripts are OK, but still you can take steps to prevent it, the steps you listed are just a waste.
You can use ANY Bot in your computer or a vps, no need to be that careful, but still don't be stupid when it comes to using a bot.
If you can, do the following steps:
- Look on the thread, if it's a new thread with 0 posts, don't take chances
- Are the posts trustworthy? Do any other people say they are having problems with it?
- If you can, decompile the scripts and search for anything malicious, you have the right to know what goes on inside it.
- Be wary of auto updating scripts, since if it updates itself it could update the jar to a malicious version after you scan it.
- Be safe botting, if you are really paranoid, change the password to a temporary one while botting, and change back after.
Don't bot and you won't have any troubles.
or just un-archive the .jar file with winrar, and search for a autodownloader/stealer.
well the best tip over all is:
Have a bank pin, don't have any hight value items out.. and everytime you login, check the last ip logged in, and that should do it...
Lame comments saying: dont bot.
