Please do not move this to some stickied thread as it is not directly about 2007 servers, but I will be mentioning them to support my topic.
Why is Jagex smart?
They know very well we can reach 250,000 votes if the motivation is not having to pay $15 extra per month. They know they would not end up with less than 250,000. They also know that we will not come close to 500,000. The result being us having to pay ~$5 extra per month. By doing so they are nearly doubling their monthly income from memberships. They are tricky..![]()
How is that not directly about the 2007 servers? Seriously, you don't need a new thread to say this.
he wants his post count up obs

Obviously they'd attempt to make some profit from it? Otherwise they'd make the poll for free players as well. They get players to pay just to vote, then to pay an extra amount of money for two different servers, and then when they have had enough of 12 year old's credit card money they took from their parents, they'll either lower the price or add a free portion to it. Typical Jagex.

Considering they said anyone who votes get the first month of members free, I don't exactly see what "wrong-doing" they're committing. They just want an accurate representation of who will actually "play" rather than seeing everyone vote on their 20 accounts, and considering members give them money already they are the ones they trust the most.
